So Kon and Cassie have officially broken up for good this time, and both decide its time to start moving on. Cassie gets a new boyfriend (can be who ever filler wants) and Kon starts going on dates. Nothing series yet, just the occasional date with other heroes and even a couple of civilians he saves during missions. Things are going fine-until one of said civilians is a guy, and they go out twice.

("It wasn't ever really a secret, it just never came up." "Seriously, guys? I figured this out when we first started dating. Kon's not exactly subtle." "Hey!")

Everyone complains about not noticing if it was obvious like Cassie says it was, but otherwise drops it. Except, Kon can't help but notice that Tim is acting a little off.

And Tim-well, its one thing to think the person you've been in love with for years won't love you back because you don't have the right parts, but-what if its just you?

Obviously, a happy ending would be preferred, but wherever the filler wants to take it is fine! And any way you can involve supportive!Kara would be awesome (I like to think she was really good friends with Tim too, not just Cassie, and that she & Kon were close-like brother/sister).


I also feel like the lyrics would make a good prompt for an angsty Clark/Lex fic-anyone know where I can prompt/request something like that?
