Your descriptions of who they seem to become contrasted with the whispers of who they once were is fascinating and feels right, and the fact that this sensation just unites them so effectively...

They watch movies, tangled in each others uniforms and limbs, and laugh aloud in each others ears, because this is eternal, forever.
